You need to already know Basic Sewing Machine Operation (FREE class with registration) Class will consist of students at different levels of sewing experience. Each student will select and sew a garment of their choose. Instructor will help you to pre-evaluate the type of garment with you. You will begin to sew at the level you are at; from pattern basics to adding garments elements such as darts, collars, buttonholes and more. Course covers 8-wk & you can purchase as many additional 8-wk blocks as needed. Certification available - testing will be required. Course Fee - 8 week block $ 150

We want you to volunteer at The Sewing Labs! All of our volunteers are expected to go thru an orientation. This is a one session orientation training which will give you the tools and insights on how to be the best volunteer you want to be. Orientation will cover; opportunities for volunteer, rules of operation and safety precautions for everyone in the program and more. Pre-registration is required. Even if you are just interested in finding out more before deciding to volunteer this is a great opportunity to explore what The Sewing Labs is.
