Join us for this fun event @ The Sewing Labs. At the Fabric Grab we will offer FREE fabric as well as bargins in fabric. The selection covers all kinds of fabrics; fashion fabrics, home decor fabrics, cotton & quilting fabrics. In addition there will be an assortment of notions, tools, patterns and sewing machines. The selection will also include vintage & newer items.

Literacy KC/ Don Bosco - Sewing as a Second Language - registration for these classes are through Literacy KC/Don Bosco. Participants will learn domestic sewing machine operation, tools of the trade and start to build fundamental skills in sewing. Student will also be exposed to businesses in Kansas City who need sewist for employment. Students can also take this class for entrepreneurship and personal enrichment.
