Open SEw - Bring your own sewing machine or rent one of ours ( $10 for 2 hrs) Use our tools and fabric stash to create. This is a open format with no instructions but, instructors are available to help. Use the Open Sew time to practice your skills or to work on your own personal project.

Patterns are your blueprint to fashion. This class will teach you the tips to select a pattern and decide on the correct size for your body. We will cover body measurements & size charts. Reading the pattern envelope choosing the correct fabrics, Pattern layouts, markings. Reading the pattern guide & careful & accurate cutting.

Learn these while making a simple table runner. This class is 4 - 2hr sessions with some homework (you can use our machines during open sew) This is a great class for beginner and anyone wanting to refresh their skills. Fee $80 - materials included.

More garments sewing - this session will cover seam finishes, overcast, turned, serged, flat felt and more. Learn & practice necklines, facing applications, pockets, cuffs and collars. Hem finishes, top stitching and more. Participants will create a library of sample to have for future reference.

Just SEWcial is an open format. Come to hang out at The Sewing Labs. Sew or socialize. Bring your friends - the Lab and all its tools and equipment & supplies are available for you. There is no instruction during the social hours. But, it's a great opportunity to make a project, get caught up on a project or to simply gather with others. No registration is required.

Learn how to use a serger. Bring your own serger to add to your skills or use ours. Serger Basics - 2 sessions 2hr class. This class covers basic serger sewing. Proper Threading and maintenance, thread tension and understanding serger features. Participants of this class will create a workbook with samples of stitches, mastering curves on your serger, creating special hems and more.
