Tunic Tops are all the rage and great for any body type. Work through basic sewing skills while making a simple tunic top. Choose from different styles & sleeve options. ( Only 1 style pictured by Indygo Junction) Great to wear with jeans or leggings. Fabric requirements will be given with enrollment. Pattern included. The class consists of 4 - 2-hour sessions.
Learn to identify knits, special seam finished & sizing tips, how to select proper needles, threads & tools. Then use these skills to make a knit garment using a serger. Beginner sewing skills recommended. The class is 3 - 2hr. sessions.

• We will be using Gelli-Art printing plates, stencils , rubber stamps and paints to create gorgeous papers . We will then use these papers to make “paper quilts” that are suitable for framing.

• You will learn lots of NEW techniques to create your artwork. You will fall “head over heels” in love with your creations!

An Infinity Scarf is the perfect accent to your outfit. Infinity scarfs are great for gifts as well! Learn to make a fun infinity scarf combining different fabrics, laces, and trims. See examples of different widths and lengths to determine the best fit for your body type. Bring your own materials or purchase a kit. You will go away with a fun & fashionable scarf as well pattern for multiple versions for your next scarf. Materials needed; 1/2 yd of plaid or print (60" recommended) 1/2yd of knit fabric, 1-2 yds of lace or trim. Kit $20.
Improve quilting - Learn to use abstract techniques for selecting fabrics and design to create a fun project. Your quilting class will be taught by Jane Bromberg. Jane is an accomplished seamstress with years of sewing experience. She now designs quilts, gives lectures and teaches across the region.

Improv quilting - let your imagination run while you are creating a unique quilting project. Improv quilting removes the bounds of straight lines and following a pattern. You will find this challenging but fun!
Learn the skills to operation several types of commercial machines; straight needle, serger, cover-stitch and more. Skills building for accuracy & speed using working examples, real work-room site tours included. Our Master Instructor; Nancy Peterson has a lifetime of skills & knowledge to share with you to assure you have real-life experiences in the commercial sewing world. This course is for the person interested in securing employment in sewing. The course consists of class lectures & labs. The course runs 6 months.
