Skirts & Pants
Learn to make a skirt or pants – you will learn the methods to put in zippers, add waistband with interfacing and finish with hook or button.
Course is in 4-weeks with homework. This class is in 4 weeks blocks and you must enroll at the beginning to attend.

Phase 1 – Sewing Basics – Tool Time
Tools Time - learn about the essential sewing tools needed to start up sewing.
Tools are categorized into 4 types of work
* Cutting
* Marking
*Measuring
* Construction
you will learn the purpose and benefit of these tools and why you need them in your sewing caddy.
Then you will make a travel sewing caddy to store you tools.
You will make a tool organizer to keep.

Come make your costume at The Sewing Labs taught by veteran costumers Alli & Jamie Lindenmann. The class format will consist on a 30 demonstration of the highlighted subject and followed up by the remainder of the class to be used to help you to create and construct the costume of your choice. If you know what you want your costume to be then we are here to help you construct it. If you are still in the discovery phase of what you want to do, we are here to help. Brenda Daily, your instructor has been stitching for years. She will share many samples of different projects that can be enhanced with embroidery.
The class is held weekly - come for 1 week or come weekly to build your stitch library and skills.

Mixed Up Pillows – Make simple pillow designs with combining unique recycled fabrics
You will have an assortment of recycled fabrics to choose from such as T- shirts, denim jeans, sweaters & woolens and home decor fabrics. Choose from different designs to make 1 or 2 pillows - time permitting.
