Fabric Sewn Cards - Learn the process and tips to make wonderful cards to share from recycled materials and mixed media items. You will make up to 6 cards with unique envelopes using sewing. Sewing fabrics & trims and re-purposed calendars and images . Then add stamped images and words. Each card is unique. These beautiful cards can then be mailed and shared with someone special. And ,Yes! these can be sent thru the mail. All material included but you can bring your own printed images if wanted.

Are you ready for some Weekend Sewing?
Sew-a-palooza Saturday give you the opportunity to get some sewing done while making a fun project.
Join us to make a fun and functional denim wanderlust field bag with inside pockets. This was inspired by a field bag for knitting but you could use it for any craft on the go. You will be re-purposing denim samples from Lee jeans. This unique bag has so many uses with simple closures and trims. You will choices of different denims and you can add unique patches to make it your own.

February designs is a whimsical standing snowman with added quilt blocks around. You can make into a wall or table quilt

We want you to volunteer at The Sewing Labs!
This is a one session orientation training which will give you an overview of the mission of The Sewing Labs and how you can serve as a volunteer.
Orientation will cover;the mission of TSL, the opportunities for volunteers from the classroom to community to boardroom, rules of operation and safety precautions for everyone in the program and more. We want you to do what you heart & hands love.
Even if you are just interested in finding out more before deciding to volunteer this is a great opportunity to explore what The Sewing Labs is all about.
All of our volunteers are expected to go thru an orientation within the first 90 days of service Pre-registration is requested.
