Cara Voss, Board President
Cara Voss's life has been intertwined with the art of sewing since childhood. Inspired by her great-grandmother's quilting and guided by her mother, she cultivated a deep love for the craft. Continuing the love of sewing with a degree in Textile & Apparel Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Cara now serves as the Global Learning & Development Manager at Children International, a prominent Kansas City non-profit.
With a robust background spanning more than 15 years in sales and customer service, including roles at Macy's and Beauty Brands, Cara brings invaluable leadership experience to The Sewing Labs. Throughout her career, Cara has championed initiatives aimed at enhancing education and fostering vibrant organizational cultures.
