About Threadventures
Threadventures is a delightful day camp designed for preteen/teen sewists. Whether your child is a just learning how to sew or has lots sewing experience, they’ll find joy in creating fabric wonders inspired by rich diversity.

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate (Previous sewing experience required)
A Sewing Camp for Confident Beginners!
Calling all young fashion designers! Threadventures is a week-long sewing camp for confident beginners ages 9-14, perfect for those who have some sewing experience—whether from a Sewing Labs camp or learning elsewhere.
This summer, we’re diving into the world of wearable fashion! Campers will learn to sew garment pieces and stylish accessories, preparing for a fabulous end-of-week fashion show where they can show off their creations.
Projects include:
Scrunchies or Fashion Cuffs – Sew stylish hair or wrist accessories.
Headbands or Bowties – Make a custom headband or bowtie.
T-Shirt – Sew and personalize your own T-shirt.
Shorts or Skirt – Create comfy shorts or a stylish skirt.
And More! – Add extra pieces for the fashion show!

Important Notes:
Campers should have basic knowledge of sewing techniques such as threading a needle, winding a bobbin, sewing straight lines, and tying knots.
All materials will be provided, including fabric, thread, needles, and embellishments.

The Sewing Labs will provide two allergy-sensitive snacks each day, but campers must bring their own lunch.
