Sewist Skill Levels

Brand New
Someone who does not know how to sew or has been away from sewing for an extended period of time and is interested in learning from the very beginning.
Confident Beginner
A sewist who is familiar with how to thread, wind a bobbin, sew with a sewing machine, measure, mark, and cut fabric.
Intermediate
A sewist that feels confident on a sewing machine with several projects under their belt. They have some basic understanding of seam constructions and finishes. A sewist who are looking to hone their skills.
Advanced
A sewist that feels confident with marking, cutting, measuring, and sewing with accuracy and few questions. They have a general knowledge of how garment construction works.
