The Sewing Labs is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people grow through sewing skills, support, and community.
Our mission is rooted in creating access, opportunity, and encouragement for people who want to learn, build confidence, and move forward. Through community classes, workforce training, scholarships, volunteer support, and hands-on learning, The Sewing Labs provides a welcoming space where people can develop practical skills and discover new possibilities.
Tax-Exempt Status
The Sewing Labs has been determined by the Internal Revenue Service to be exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). The organization is also classified as a public charity under IRC Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi), and contributions made to The Sewing Labs may be tax-deductible as allowed by law.
