The Sewing Salon Training Program provides vocational training in industrial sewing machine operation through a registered apprenticeship pathway with the Missouri Division of Labor.
Participants complete 30 weeks of classroom instruction focused on production sewing techniques, machine operation, and workplace standards. After classroom training, participants move into a paid 2,000-hour apprenticeship with one of our employer partners, typically completed over the course of one year.
Classes are led by experienced industry professionals and emphasize hands-on learning, repetition, and consistency. Participants train on a range of industrial machines and production systems to build the practical skills employers expect.
