Program Overview
The Sewing Salon Training Program provides vocational training in industrial sewing machine operation through a registered apprenticeship pathway with the Missouri Division of Labor.
Participants complete 30 weeks of classroom instruction focused on production sewing techniques and workplace standards, followed by a paid 2,000-hour apprenticeship with an employer partner.
Training is hands-on and led by experienced industry professionals. Participants build practical skills on industrial machines designed for real production environments.
Applications are accepted year-round.

The Sewing Salon Training Program follows clear standards and participation requirements. Please review the following before applying:

- Classroom training is unpaid; the apprenticeship phase is paid
