Bev Edwards

Bev’s passion for textile arts started more than fifty years ago when she joined the Ridgeview Rockets 4-H Club.

Inspired by her mother and grandmother, Bev spent many hours as a child sewing, crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching.

With very little free time while raising four energetic children and building a legal career in the financial services industry, she became most passionate about quilts, quilting, and quilters!

Bev found every moment to quilt, even while serving as CFO to her husband and son’s Nothing Bundt Cakes business, and even now hardly goes anywhere without a project or two in tow.

Now retired, Bev shares her business and legal expertise—and her enthusiasm for textile arts—at The Sewing Labs.

She believes everyone can benefit from learning and enjoying the art of “making,” whether it be with an eye toward entrepreneurship, employment, or as a personal outlet for creativity and satisfaction.
