Hilari Holt

Industrial Sewing Instructor

Hilari Holt is a proud KCMO native and an alumni of the Sewing Salon Training Program ('23-'25), as well as a graduate of the Apparel & Textiles program of Metropolitan Community College - Penn Valley ('13), for Design & Product Development and is currently a production sewist for Sandlot Goods.

She is most known for her comedic performing & acting talents and made her international debut in 2025 at the Robin Hood International Improv Festival (Nottingham, UK).

She created Black Comedy Fest KC, a bi-annual comedy festival centering the voices of Black comedic creatives in improv, sketch & stand-up, to Kansas City in 2024.

She is a guide for Urban Hikes KC, predominantly for their 18th & Vine Hike.

She is a member of various groups in the city such as; The Rotary Club - KC Plaza, KC 360, Decarcerate KC and a Campaign Partner for the "Your Voice, Our Power" Collaborative Social Action Campaign with National Congress of Black Women - KC.

She is here to spread creativity, joy and connection with everyone.
