All Kinds of Hems

In this one day class students will learn how to sew multiple types of hems on woven fabric and hopefully learn some tips to make the process easier.  Depending on how far we get, and what everyone is interested in we can learn a couple different ones. These could be a standard jeans hem, an original jean hem (where we keep the distressed edge of the pant), a hand sewn blind hem, a 1/4" curved shirt hem, and a 1/4" dress/skirt hem. Students should come prepared with a couple of garments to work on that are marked or can be tried on and fitted in class.
