This course teaches you how to confidently use The Sewing Labs’ professional embroidery machines.
Explore the world of embroidery with our essential training course designed for operating the Baby Lock Venture 10-needle embroidery machine. This training is a prerequisite for machine rental.
During this course, you'll learn:
- Proper hooping techniques for your projects
- Selection of appropriate stabilizers for different projects
- Choosing the right needles and threads for optimal results
- Basic operation of the Baby Lock Venture embroidery machine
- Selecting designs from the built-in library
- Importing designs from external sources
- Valuable tips, tricks, and recommendations to enhance your skills
Items to bring to class:
- A keen willingness to learn and embrace the learning process, including making mistakes
- Optional: Snacks for your comfort during the class
You'll practice on provided fabric, and while you're welcome to bring a small item for a simple embellishment, note that its use for instruction may vary based on project complexity and time constraints.
This class is ideal for sewists interested in custom apparel, branding, decorative stitching, or expanding into embroidery services.
Upon completion, you will be able to rent time on our embroidery machine.
