Thank you Artist & Makers for submitting a piece into our “Mask Parade”
This art exhibit was part of The Sewing Labs, signature event - “Make’n HERstory” and will honored to remain as a collection to be exhibited.
Make’n HERstory was a conference to celebrate women using their creative muse to “ make a living and/or make a life” This celebration brought together all forms of makers and honors them through their journey.
Your "mask parade" project was displayed at this event to share your creative muse and supported The Sewing Labs mission.
"The Sewing Labs is an inclusive and welcoming community teaching the legacy of sewing for employment, entrepreneurship, and enrichment".
The masks were exhibited during our Make’n HERstory event on May 21 & 22, 2021.
It was decided that due to the uniqueness and the voices of these pieces that they would remain a group display to spark conversation and thought about the 2020 COVID year to remember. If you would like to view the exhibit please watch for a separate page on this website.
